Aluminum Production
Time Period Units Combo Box
If you click on the button of the Time Period Units Combo Box a drop down menu opens. You select the time perion units (years, for instance, in the next figure).
Metal Quality, Production Factor Combo Box
If you click on the button of the Metal Quality Combo Box a drop down menu opens. You select either the metal quality or the production factor to be changed. With a new value of the impurites AlPrg calculates the corresponding production factor or vice versa.
Determination of the Current Efficiency
If you double click into the current efficiency input field the field becomes desactivated. You may change now some values, for instance the aluminum production from PAl = 113.102·103 t to PAl = 115.000·103 t in the next figure, AlPrg calculates a new value for the current efficiency η = 96.54 %.
Determination of the Current Intensity
In the same way you determine the current intensity by double double clicking into the current intensity input field. If you change again PAl = 113.102·103 t to PAl = 115.000·103 t the new value for the current intensity is I = 137.266 kA.
Determination of the Time Period
The calculated time period normally is not an entire number. AlPrg splits the real number into years, moths, weeks, days, hours and minutes.
Determination of the Number of Pots
The same happens when the number of pots are calculated: AlPrg shows the entire and the real number.
